IMDG In-house Training for Stolt was successfully held

In-house IMDG Training offered by AST&L and SISI to Stolt-Neilson was successfully held in Shanghai on 11 Nov., 2009.

Based on Stolt’s requests as well as the current practice in dangerous goods transportation, AST&L designed and implement the training course to meet the specific needs. AST&L invited Terry Guo as the instructor of the course, who has many years experience in shipping dangerous goods by ocean and by air. The course covered IMDG general provisions, classification, dangerous goods list, packing, consignment, operations and how to use the IMDG When shipping to the United States.

During the three-day course, the staffs from Stolt raised several issues regarding shipping dangerous goods by ocean and Mr. Guo provided them with possible solutions, given his many years industrial experience both domestically and internationally.

The training course provided an opportunity for Stolt-Neilson to be familiar with the practice regarding IMDG. After the course, the staffs attended the training expressed their interests to further join the IMDG Certificate training course.
