The 100th Annual Meeting and TransComp 2007 was successfully held in Atlanta

The National Industrial Transportation League¡¯s 100th Annual Meeting and TransComp was held in Atlanta from November 9th to 14th. The event was a huge success based on the response of those attending. More than 3,100 representatives from the relevant government departments, logistics companies, research institutions, and logistics media all over the world participated in this conference; it surpasses overall attendance levels of recent years.

On November 12th, the 25th anniversary of TransComp opened along with the Intermodal Expo hosted by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), many companies were attracted and joined in.

The delegation from China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA) which was led by Capt. Qian Yongchang (Chairman of CCTA) participated in the conference also; this visit improved the communication and understanding between China and U.S. in transportation and logistics industry. Capt Qian was awarded the Distinguished Logistics Profession (DLP) award at the meeting.
